Biography
Brigadier General Professor Dr. Md. Yousuf Ali is one of the most experienced, skilled & reputed leading senior Oncologists in Bangladesh.
He obtained various higher degrees in Oncology at home & abroad, namely FCPs (BCPS), MACR (USA), FRSH (London)
He has advanced training in Tata Medical Center, India & National Cancer Center, Singapore. He performed observership in Charing Cross, St Mery's & Weston Park Cancer Hospital, England. He participated in various National & International Seminars, Workshops & Conferences.
He has obtained prestigious membership of the European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology (ESTRO), European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) & American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He has many publications on cancer in different Journals.
He is a respected Professor of Oncology in the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC). He is an honorable fellow & faculty of the Bangladesh College of Physician & Surgeons (BCPS) & a regular Examiner of FCPS & MCPS, DMRT & MD (Oncology).
He was Advisor Oncologist & Head of the Department, Cancer Center, Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka.
He is a well-known Senior Consultant Oncologist (Cancer Specialist), of this advanced Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Center, Green Road, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
He is very expert in General Oncology. Cancer diagnosis & staging work-up. Chemotherapy (conventional chemo, targeted chemo, immunotherapy & hormone therapy). Radiotherapy (2-Dimensional Radiotherapy- 2DRT, 3- Dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy-3DCRT. Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy-IMRT. Radioare/VMAT Radiotherapy, Stereotactic Radiotherapy, Electron therapy, Brachytherapy) & Palliative Onco-care.
He has been awarded a medal for his outstanding performance & contributions to cancer management.
