Biography

Prof. Dr. Bishwajit Bhowmik completed his MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College in 1998. Then he completed his Post Graduation MD in Radiology & Imaging at 2008.

Currently, he works as an Associate Professor (Interventional Radiology), Department of Radiology & Imaging, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. Before BSMMU worked in Dhaka Medical College as a Radiologist.

He Completed Fellowship on Interventional Radiology (Hands On) from Singapore General Hospital, Singapore in 2013. He also done Post-graduate Course in Head & Neck Radiology from Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA at 2016.  

He obtained Observer Fellowship on Interventional Radiology from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Mumbai, India in 2019. He has more than 60 publications in International and Bangladeshi Journals. He also participated in many different National & International Conferences as a speaker.
